Bergamot is a top note. It is bright, citrusy, refreshing and sweet with a subtle spice undertone.

Recommended Uses

Bergamot is known to help aid eczema and digestive complaints. It may calm, energize and uplift the mind.

Blending

• Citrus: Bergamot pairs beautifully with other citrus oils like orange, grapefruit, lime, and lemon, creating bright and uplifting blends. 
• Floral: Floral oils like lavender, geranium, jasmine, and ylang-ylang complement bergamot's citrusy scent, resulting in calming and romantic blends. 
• Woody: Woody oils like sandalwood, cedarwood, and vetiver add grounding and comforting notes when blended with bergamot.
• Spicy: Bergamot can also be combined with spicy oils like black pepper, ginger, and nutmeg, creating warm and invigorating blends.  

Contradictions / Safety

Phototoxic. Avoid exposure to strong UV rays for 12 to 24 hours after application. May be a skin irritant in excess dosage.

To use essential oils safely, always dilute them with a carrier oil before topical application and avoid application to sensitive areas such as eyes, inner ears, nose, or broken skin. Store them a cool, dark, and dry place, making sure the lid is sealed tight and keep them out of reach of children and pets.

Clean empty glass bottle for refill in store. To recycle make sure empty bottle is free from any oil residue.
