Scent Profile

Carrot seed is a base note/fixative. It is creamy, smooth, sweet, woody and warm.

Recommended Uses

Cedarwood atlas may assist with acne, asthma, bronchitis, chest infections, coughing, dandruff and rheumatism. It may be used as an antiseptic or antifungal oil and is known to help combat oily skin. Emotionally, cedarwood atlas essential oil may ease anxiety and depression, cleanse negative energy, provide mental clarity and release fear and anger. It is a balancing, calming and meditative oil.

Blending

  • Woody: It pairs beautifully with other wood essential oils like sandalwood, frankincense, and vetiver, creating grounding and calming aromas.
  • Citrus: Citrus oils like bergamot, mandarin, and grapefruit complement the woody aroma of cedarwood, adding a bright and uplifting touch.
  • Floral: Floral notes like jasmine, lavender, and ylang-ylang can be combined with cedarwood to create a sophisticated and calming blend.
  • Spice: Spicy notes like cardamom and coriander can add a warm and inviting touch to cedarwood blends.

Contradictions / Safety

Avoid use during pregnancy. May be irritating to the skin in high dosages. Do not confuse with cedar leaf (thuja) essential oil which is entirely different and much more dangerous.

To use essential oils safely, always dilute them with a carrier oil before topical application and avoid application to sensitive areas such as eyes, inner ears, nose, or broken skin. Store them a cool, dark, and dry place, making sure the lid is sealed tight and keep them out of reach of children and pets.

End of Life

To recycle make sure empty bottle is clean and free from any oil residue.
